Ng Chai Hock: “Monks look up at a magnificent night sky filled with thousands of lanterns during the Yi Peng lantern festival. This was the moment I’d been waiting for and it passed very quickly due to strong wind. A very heavy downpour occurred right after we left.”

Michael Kenna has captured the beauty and essence of the locations of his travels through his stunning photographs. The places he has traveled to range from Russia to Korea, and although all of his photographs are really something, his set of photos from China was highly distinguishable. Kenna has done an amazing job at capturing the sheer beauty, serenity, and freshness of the Huangshan landscape in a way that appears to be effortless. The mountains and the midst shown in some of the photographs are what one might picture when imagining a sage in his natural habitat or a ninja preparing for the day.
